This is one of the most beautiful walks you can possible take. From an incredible beach (watch out for rising tides) to a streaming river and waterfalls. The island itself it small and fun to explore. You could forget you were just on the outskirts of a city! Great escape.

Arts & Culture

Even if you are not an art lover It is worth a visit just to see the building, it's stunning. It is free entry to view the art (you may have to pay to enter any special exhibitions), you get a free map and knowledgeable staff are on hand to give any help you may require. There is a cafe & shop.

The most known symbol of Edinburgh. Worth visiting to tick the box. As downsides always full of tourists and a bit overpriced.
