Green Park
More commonly called Le Cascine, this is the largest public park in Florence (160 hectares). It runs along the right bank of the Arno, from the historic centre, to the confluence of the river in the the Mugnone stream.
It was born thanks to the Medici family at the beginning of 1500 as an agricultural and hunting estate, and then extended over the years to become the current green lung of Florence.
It is the ideal place to take a walk in the open air, a nice bike ride or skating (which can also be rented in the park).
In the summer it is a place where you can meet, participate in events, eat, listen to music and take cool. In addition, on Tuesday mornings there is a busy weekly market in the park's avenues.
In summer there are internationally renowned festivals and events such as the great Firenze Rock, a week-long festival of Rock music, or the Decibel Open Air, a festival of electronic music in the beautiful Visarno Arena.

Questo è il posto ideale dove trascorrere una bella serata in compagnia, mangiando una buonissima Bistecca alla Fiorentina, sorseggiando un calice di vino rosso del Chianti. Questo museo si trova sul retro della Cattedrale, ed è uno dei musei più importanti di Firenze poiché raccoglie opere di arte sacra precedentemente collocate nel Duomo, nel Campanile o nel Battistero. A mio parere, dopo gli Uffizi è il museo più affascinante di Firenze quindi tappa consigliatissima.
