Food scene

Great pizza (with almost every day having a specialty pie that's extra good) and a full bar. They use a "Crispy's pour" with their liquor so expect strong drinks! Our favorite restaurant in the area.

New but solid food choices. Burger is really good. They mix up their menu a lot too, with local meats and veggies usually. Getting started with their own beer.

Craft brewery with more solidified flavors, especially around strong ales. Personally our favorite because the beer is done well.

Small bakery with incredible pastries and sandwiches. If you're looking to grab a coffee or small bite this is the place, and they also have more substantial meals like a tasty bacon and egg sandwich with their in-house bread. Seating is limited but can accommodate up to a foursome.

Sightseeing

Large local park that has open space for activities as well as paths and seating for running and other recreation. There's a baseball field, basketball courts, and a disc golf course as well. Runs alongside a creek that cuts through the core of the city.

Getting around

Event venues and the neighborhood

There's a stadium, baseball grounds, coliseum, and other event venues nearby, just over a mile away. If you're okay with walking we recommend it as it's just a couple streets and should take 15-20 minutes, otherwise grab an Uber or Lyft for a quick trip.
