Spirit Rock Conservation Area draws people from afar for its local history, legends and remarkable view of Colpoy's Bay. Encompassing 87 hectares, the site features the historical "Corran" the home of Alexander McNeill, a Federal member of Parliament from 1881-1901. The Corran was a 17 room mansion lavished with oriental carvings, ancient weapons, tapestries and book-lined walls. As known as the McNeill Estate, there are many things to see: an impressive view from the top of the Niagara Escarpment, a spiral staircase to the water's edge, and access to the Bruce Trail.

Spirit Rock Conservation Area draws people from afar for its local history, legends and remarkable view of Colpoy's Bay. Stretching approximately 4 kms long, you will hear the gulls soaring above and the waves hitting the shoreline. Although the beach itself is sandy, the water bottom ranges from pebbly to rocky to sandy.

Sauble XC Ski Club has 18 kms of groomed cross country ski trails with an additional 13 km of snowshoe trails starting that all begin from a warm chalet. The experience is magical with a personal favourite forest trail that runs beside the Rankin River. Oh, and don’t get intimidated as there are trail systems that range from beginner to expert capabilities. The chalet is open every weekend (weather permitting) all the way to march break every year offering free hot cider. Trail passes, maps and memberships can be purchased at the chalet, MacBeth’s Cafe & Bakery in Sauble Beach or Suntrail Outfitters in Hepworth.
