Great, uncrowded park very close to my place to enjoy a stroll and clear your head. There are monuments and statues dedicated to a wide range of historical figures, from Joan of Arc to President Buchanan to Dante. Don't miss the drum circle every Sunday!

Lots to do in Dupont Circle, in addition to seeing the famous fountain. Many hotel bars, restaurants, and shops. Can be a bit touristy but is nice to explore or just hang out in the park at the circle.

The former Red Light District, 14th Street is like a grown up, classier Adams Morgan. If you're looking for a nice glass of wine, craft beer, or avant garde meal away from the tourist traps downtown, this is a good place to explore.
