This new housing development is on the site of the old Arsenal where the artillery was made during WW2. Steeped in history! The Dial Arch pub here is great!

If you walk up here (about 15-25 minutes) and keep walking up the hill, you'll reach the highest point in London and get great views across the city through the houses.

A huge open park (called a 'common') where you can stroll or kids can kick a football or fly a kite. A play area for children is between my house and the park and it's great for the younger ones.

A real piece of history - book yourself into see a play inside Shakespeare's Globe theatre. The original was burned down many years ago and this one was built in the original style on the same spot.
