At the bottom of Kahakai Blvd, turn right follow the coastline through gorgeous mango trees, jungle vines, ocean side views. At end of the road you'll find the massive flow that took much from our area. Follow the road to the right back up to Pahoa, Lava Tree Park is on the way.

The old boat ramp was destroyed by recent lava and is now a small pond. The original hot spring (back behind the house on path) is lovely natural hot pond. The ocean is not safe for swimming, lots of lava boulders rolling around in the surf
