This is one of the oldest repositories of an art collection in the country.It has undergone a renovation which reproduces early "cabinets of wonder "as in early days of collecting.Not your usual museum.Located in our mount vernon neighborhood,this is an opportunity to explore some of our architectural gems of that area.
This group saved the entire waterfront area of Baltimore from being destroyed by the building of I-95 through our city. Without their tireless efforts(despite the wishes of our officials at that time) we would have lost the now most vibrant of our neighborhoods.

Fells Point is the center of the original port of Baltimore. We have a concentration of early to late 1800's buildings which now offer Restaurants, Shopping, Bars,and Waterfront views abound.Walk south from eastern ave to the water.

Parks & Nature

The Pagoda .Betsy Patterson married Napoleon's brother. She is the namesake of this park. The site of the pagoda was high ground for the battle of 1812. Some of the cannons were found to be original to that battle in the most recent restoration of this site.East on Eastern Ave. Enter park at Patterson Ave. Stroll north- you can't miss it.( betsy was never accepted by the despot-her husband was ordered back to France)
