Best dive bar EVER. Seriously. And the only place on Haight that still has $4 cocktails. Pool tables and a "smoking" patio. What more do you need!?

A true local gem. Zam Zam has been around for ages. Close your eyes and imagine the PERFECT bar for an intimate nightcap - or an entire night of conversation and martinis. This is it, and more.

Not always the cheapest vintage shop, but they have some of the best buyers on the street. Awesome unusual designer bags, coats and jewelry - and priced pretty fairly for what you get.

Sun or fog, Golden Gate Park is heaven. The adventurous could easily spend a day walking the length of it down to the Cliff House for dinner and a cocktail at sunset. Amazing.

The ultimate hangover brunch. The "eggs in a tasty nest" have cured many ills, not to mention the people-watching factor. On weekends, try to arrive before 10:30 or 11 to avoid a line.

Great place for a no-fuss bloody mary brunch where you won't have to wait and you can catch a game. They also just opened a plaza out front so you can sit outside on a nice day.

Noodle house that's super cheap with huge portions. You could easily split one soup entree between two people and it'll cost you like, less than 10 bucks.
