Best views in a peaceful oasis (not just any old gas station) with amazing sweet potato fries and a reuben sandwich to die for--amazing sat night dinners and music. kids can run around the undulating grassy slopes and play on swing set and adults can throw horseshoes in 2 pits. The mt,. water, and wildlife views are worth the 15 minute drive

Hike goes up, up, up but the sweat is worth the phenomenal Lake and mountain views. Take it slow and steady--no problem--or just go up to the first literal bench 1/4 or the 2nd bench1/3-1/2 way up-- sit and rest then come back down
