This french inspired cafe is my favorite lunch spot to take a book and sip on espresso. The decor will transport you to Paris instantly, and the lunch prices aren't too bad. Dinner can get expensive though.

Holy pancakes and crepes! Huge portions and very budget friendly. If you like cherries, I recommend the Cherry Kijafa crepes. They also fresh squeeze their orange juice. It's right next to Tara Cinema if you want to plan an afternoon brunch and a movie!

Drinks & Nightlife

This is a restaurant and bar, but my favorite chill spot to go grab drinks with friends. It has dim lighting and an overall cozy atmosphere. There is a game room in the back with ski ball, shuffleboard, and stellar music.

If you enter Bone Lick and walk to the back you'll see a bookshelf. If you push the bookshelf open, you'll be in one of the most chic speakeasies that has its own speakeasy with dancing and music downstairs. The drinks are fabulous and the atmosphere is hard to beat. This speakeasy is on Edgewood Ave which has multiple fun bars is a fantastic place to head out if your group is looking for a night of bar hopping and/or dancing.

This place is a blast! In the front rooms, arcade games and board games are available to play all night while you sip on one of their amazing slushy drinks. There is a small back room that sometimes has the game Rockband running or a DJ spinning themed music.

Entertainment & Activities

This boutique movie theatre plays Indie films and those that won't be found at the larger Cineplex. It's clean and attracts a somewhat older crowd. It is about a 20 minute drive depending on traffic, but always worth it to me.

Essentials

4.9 miles from the house. This is my go-to for groceries and home goods if it isn't high traffic time. I recommend going between 10 am-3 pm or after 8 pm. It's clean, safe, and has Chik-fil-A next door which is always a plus.

Getting Around

I recommend using Uber or Lyft if you can, because sometimes the Marta can be "sketchy." But if budget is most important, the Marta (metro) station closest to the house- 0.9 miles or 2 minute drive.
