Who knows, you may bump into Sherlock actor, Benedict Cumberbatch! He trained at LAMDA and was appointed its President in January 2018.

Our much loved local independent cinema built in 1907 and recently renovated. The auditorium is large with reclining super soft seats. Its ornate ceiling and plush curtains give a sense of the bygone days of cinema. From Notting Hill Gate Underground station (District Line) take exit 2 which is opposite and to the left of the ticket barriers. As you reach the top of the stairs The Gate can be seen ahead, less than a minute away.

Today, it's one of London's most popular attractions, and whether you're there for a gentle stroll, a picnic or some serious sightseeing, it should be a must-see on your London "to-do" list.
