Make sure to bring water and some food, and to check if your destination is open if you plan on visiting one of the many cabins. If you want to go to the less crowded spots in Marka, only imagination will stop you on your hike. But make sure to bring a map, althouth the trails are pretty well marked with directing signs (red sign marks winter trail (skis), blue marks summer trails.
