Great place to rent a kayak. Very affordable. You can kayak around downtown on Ladybird Lake. So pretty. They have changing rooms too. :)

This is a beautiful nature park with acres of mesquite and oak trees. 51 acres! I walk it at dusk to see the deer. Very pretty. 5 min away.

A must see. Take a boat ride (only $10 pp) at dusk to see the world famous bats come out from under Congress Street bridge! This is a good company to book with. Nice boats and tour.

A beautiful town to stroll, swim, dine, shop. They did get hit by the floods unfortunately. Clean up is going on. The town is open for business and swimming. Half hour drive.

If you like the outdoors, architecture, art, go here. So pretty. A Villa built at the turn of the century on acres of gardens along the water. Donated to Austin; a museum now. $5 entrance. So nice!
