A vegan restaurant and cafe very close to my flat. The food here is amazing even if, like me, you're not vegan. I recommend the Brixton Brunch.

Lordship Lane in East Dulwich is one of my favourite relaxing places in London. Packed with nice independent coffee shops, restaurants and pubs, it feels like a happy high street away from the chaos of London.

Richmond Park is an amazing, huge natural space in London. A bit tricky to get to by public transport, but worth it if you make it. Famous for its deer that wander freely and are often tame enough to approach. I'd hire a bike for the day and explore.

A short hop over the Thames takes you to Sloane Square and the famouse King's Road. Nestled amongst impressive areas such as Chelsea, Belgravia and Hyde Park. Home to great shopping. And walking distance to museums and galleries like Saatchi, The V&A, and The Natural History Museum.

Getting around
CityMapper is a great app for navigating public transport
It'll give you different route options to pick from, tell you when buses and trains are arriving, and how much the trip will cost.
Getting around
Use your contactless card on public transport
Contactless credit and debit cards are used everywhere in the UK, for almost any transaction under £30. This includes the London public transport system. So you don't need to buy a ticket or an Oyster, just tap your card on the yellow reader. There is a daily limit, so you will never pay more than the price of a Day Travelcard ticket.
