Devils Point Tidal Pool – good for younger children (where the locals go) at the end of Durnford Street PL1 (just before the Royal William Yard), keep walking down Durnford street until you get to the sea (just past The Artillary Tower) and you will have reached the natural tidal pool.

Take the Cremyll Ferry to Mount Edgecumbe The 8 minute trip takes you across the River Tamar, with spectacular views of Mount Edgcumbe, Royal William Yard and Plymouth Sound. Cremyll Ferry departs from Admirals Hard, Stonehouse in Plymouth every 30 minutes, 15 minutes and 45 minutes past the hour (with an eight minute crossing time). 1 hour walk to the Devonport Inn at Kingsand
