Cell service is spotty and navigation apps don’t always work here. It’s best to download the area of interest before leaving WIFi, or carry an old fashion paper map

Organic Valley sells “trim cheese” ends and pieces in 2lb packages for around $7 at their retail stores. It’s a steal!
Travelling with kids
Almost no bugs
Compared to neighboring MN and MI, or northern WI, this area has almost no mosquitoes. Ridges especially are often bug bite free zones.
