A lively seaside town with plenty going on. Enjoy; tea on the pier, a trip to the theatre; visit an exhibition or the Ravilious Library (Sussex Landscape artist) at the Towner Art Gallery. On the way home (if possible time it for sun set) drive along the coast to Beachy Head and Birling Gap for a view of our stunning coastline.

A quirky county town bulging with antique shops. A day will easily disappear visiting Lewes Castle, Anne of Cleves House Museum and Harveys, East Sussex local brewery. If you are visiting on November 5th Lewes is notorious for its bonfire night and is the Bonfire capital of the world!
