Food Scene

Top 10 restaurants you must go! Scrumptious foods. The service here is really attentive and friendly. The views are one of the best as you are by the pier, so you get beautiful views of the snowcapped Vancouver mountains. As a result, it's a bit pricey--you are paying for location as well as good food.

Highly recommended are the waffles and the fricassee. Waffles were nice and soft on the outside and tasted very fresh accompanied by various dip flavors. The fricassee was very tasty and had a good portion of side rib accompanied with a sun side egg cooked perfectly.

Drinks & Nightlife

**HAPPY HOUR COCKTAILS** If you really want good cocktails served by good bartenders, come here at 3-5 Fri & Sat. They have a list of classic cocktails $2 off, which works out to be $~8-10 each. I love good and cheap cocktails so I naturally gravitate towards this deal.

Breakfast here is amazing and super affordable! The drinks are the cheapest. Great place to meet people and wonderful staff. Really large area but there aren't very many places to sit when there are a lot of people.

Make your way across the swaying suspension bridge, which stretches 137 metres (450 feet) across a canyon and the Capilano River 70 metres (230 feet) below. Then explore the beautifully lush fir- and fern-carpeted forests via a series of elevated suspension bridges in the Treetops Adventure, and the thrilling Cliffwalk.

Parks & Nature

I highly recommend walking the sea wall or even biking on a trip here. Not only do you get to see Vancouver from a different perspective but it's just so beautiful and peaceful to gaze out into the water, watch seaplanes take off and land and just be for a few moments. The beautiful totem poles which is a good starting point to start the 5+ mile trek around the park.

A sanctuary in the heart of the city, this incredibly manicured garden was the first authentic classical Chinese garden ever built outside of China. Walk along the peaceful paths and admire the harmonious elements designed in rock, water, plants and architecture.
