Love this restaurant, its not cheap but the ambience is fantastic and the staff lovely. Be aware that its fish only. In the summer there is an outside area which is literally on the beach, the tables here are on a first come first served basis. I would recommend booking this in advance of your stay as Whitstable is always busy and restaurants are the same.

This is an amazing family run restaurant. The food here in my opinion is the best in Whitstable. It is small so you will need to book well in advance, well worth the effort of doing so.

JoJos is a great restaurant with fab sharing platters, at the end of Tankerton which can be reached by walking 1.5 miles along the beach. A great way of working up and appetite or walking off the calories! Again you will need to book in advance.

Lovely small gastro pub with nice garden. Only a 5 minute drive from Whitstable but you feel like you’re in the heart of the countryside. Great for a Sunday roast.

Great gastro pub in the heart of Faversham. Lovely food served in a relaxed atmosphere. Maybe combine a visit here with a tour of the Shepherd Neame brewery.

This a lovely friendly pub with board games and great pub food at reasonable prices. There is a cosy dining area at the back of the pub up the stairs. I would recommend booking this area in advance.

The Bubble is small with great views from every seat. The lunch menu is quite Middle Eastern with a selection of lovely small plates. We sometimes order from here and eat on the beach. The place is also very good for breakfast/brunch.
