Walk round the reservoir and see the beautiful moorland scenery. This is just less than 4 miles and completely flat so suitable for push chairs and wheelchairs. The Burrator Inn is close by for refreshments and there is usually an ice cream van parked up too.

The cottage is situated on this street. Directly opposite is the butcher which sells the best sausages and bacon! It also does other deli produce and vegetables. It closes at lunch time on a Saturday so get there in the morning if you want to pick anything up. The Post Office has a little bakery in. Pick up your bread and fresh cakes here. We particularly recommended the carrot and orange cake, and the bread pudding! Check out the different themed nights at the local bistro where you are sure to get friendly service.

The pictures tell it all really! Absolutely delicious food. We love to pick up a pulled pork, stuffing and apple sauce hot roll and take it across the road to the open moorland for a picnic. Delicious finished off with some cannoli which they also sell! Yum! You’ll find this on the Yelverton Roundabout.
