For something a bit different, go to Ireland's 84000 people stadium for our national sports. It has an excellent museum and tour where you will even get to try the sports. If you see people walking around in jerseys you don't recognise, its likely these are county jerseys, each county has a jersey and the sport is 100% amateur, yet the players on the county team have sports star status in Ireland. Matches are played on Sundays and extremely popular.

Top Tips

Coffee: Slice, Lilliput Stores (also a nice grocer), Phoenix Park Tea Rooms right beside the Zoo. Brunch: Slice, Social Fabric Cafe, Phoenix Park Visitor's centre and Phoenix Park Tea Rooms (note you can only sit outside here). Lunch: Mooz Italian Deli, Liliput Stores, The Green Door Bakery. Dinner Hakkahan Chinese or Grano (Italian) restaurants on Manor Street are my favorites. Its very difficult to get a booking for either so make sure to call in advance/look at open table. Stone does nice Pizza and is available for takeaway. Fish Shop in Smithfield (a short walk up the Luas tracks) is lo
