Cycle hire at Sourton is a good bike hire shop serving The Granite way. This runs to Okehampton station, via the Meldon reservoir & viaduct. Pump & pedal worth a stop for coffee. Our gang enjoyed hiring & cycling home via Lydford, then Brentor with lunch at The Elephants Nest. Bike hire in different hands since pandemic but is still using same good quality bikes.

Morwellham quay was of importance in the area's Mining history. It is an English Heritage site, and former Port. It has been asleep for a few years but plans to re open in 2022. The railway into the mine is being rebuilt. A new kids soft play centre opened. We like to canoe up to Morwellham for an evening meal at The Ship.
