Local food magazines consistently rate this the best deli in Los Angeles, and that alone is worth the drive to this north Valley location. The atmosphere is standard issue delicatessen, it's the wonderful service and the great New York style food that really shines here. Pick a comfy booth, scan the huge menu, sit back and relax. The huge sandwiches are stuffed with lean tasty meats and made with soft, fresh rye bread that's truly wonderful.

You have probably seen Venice Beach on movies. It is a famous spot not to be missed. Sundays is when the activity is at its highest. If you do not mind the crowds, it is really fun to experience the street art, music and restaurants of Venice.

Shopping

The Village at Topanga Canyon is a new mall, beautifully designed with stores and restaurants. Try a vegan spot: Veggie Grill (my favorite), or Joe's (meat eaters), or for Mexican XOXO. There is plenty of parking in the parking structure. Costco will validate for 3 hours!
