City advice

Don't miss

Make the most of the trip towards Rotorua

If coming to Rotorua from the south then visit Huka Falls out of Taupo and then the mudpools off the Waiotapu turnoff before you arrive. Waikite Hot Pools are off the other side of the highway. Gorgeous! If coming from the north then swing by through Mount Maunganui for great walk around the Mount and terrific beach views. Near Rotorua the Okere Falls are worth a short bush walk and watch the brave ones raft over the steepest raftable waterfall.
