Glendalough is a remarkable valley - the site of an ancient monastic settlement. The views are absolutely breathtaking and there are many hiking trails in the area.

Originally home to Charles Stewart Parnell and now an Arboretum. Avondale is a great place for a walk through the woodland and along the river.

This is one of my favourite places. It is great for a walk and picnic. The gardens are stunning throughout the summer. There are many rare plant species.
