Bear Creek Lake Park has a sandy swim beach. Also at the lake you can fish (license required), rent a boat (kayak, canoe, paddleboard, or sailboat) and get a great view of Red Rocks from the lake. There are also miles of multi-use trails (including a fitness trail) as well as an archery range.
