Amazing house-made brick oven pizza (even the cheese is made there!) in an adorable space tucked into our neighborhood. The owner William will usually stop through to see how your meal is and tell you a story! Monday nights 1/2 price pizza. Try the sausage/pistachio sauce!

My home away from home. If you're lucky enough to go when owner Irena is working, expect a hug. You'll instantly feel like family in this hidden Venezuelan gem. Lots of seating options, but opt for the arepa bar if you can and ask GM Chris what their amazing chef recommends for the night and you will NOT be disappointed. The best cocktails you'll find anywhere, and make sure to get your hands on an arepa! Drive required!

Please eat here once. Locally owned, this shop has endured hardship during the economy including a devastating fire. Yet some of the best food in the city, once visited by Queen Latifah and picked up frequently in the press. Must-try, the chef is amazing.

If you want something more upscale ($150+ per person) try Baltimore's only James Beard restaurant. I recommend the wine pairings 5 course with the caviar add-on. A meal you'll remember the rest of your life, overlooking the inner harbor. Chef Cindy Wolf is to die for.

Curse this spot for being so close to the house. Even our dog pulls when we walk by it through the park since they serve what she rates 10/10 pup cups. Lines can get long in the summer but very worth it. Just South of the house along the park. 5 min walk.

Waterfront views are STUNNING at this spot. Highly recommend for playing some frisbee or an outdoor picnic (pick up some charcuterie and wine at Chesapeake Wine Company on Boston Street, or Katana sushi!). Take the water taxi over to Ft. McHenry National Park if you'd like a day trip to see some Baltimore history, or just lounge in the grass. If you stand smack in the middle of the Korean War Memorial and speak out loud, you'll get an eerie echo. Great lazy day spot!

The owner is divine, the shop is unique and precious with items at many different price points. Every piece is deliberately selected from a very original design mind. The owner also designs some of the hottest restaurants in town, including Bar Vasquez and The Charleston, so this is a great opportunity to take home some high end, curated pieces (or even a fun card and candle!)

God Bless America! Check out this amazing shrine where our Star Spangled Banner was written. Uber back through the city (not the tunnel) so you can see Federal Hill on your way out. Then come back to the house and watch the Baltimore episode of Drunk History on the couch to get some comedic perspective on our city's history.
