"We did the Maid of the Mist Boat Ride. The Boat leaves every 20 minutes and the trip is just under 20 mins return. They provide you with pink ponchos to keep you dry. Your shoes may get wet so don't wear anything too fancy. Make sure to bring a go pro or waterproof camera as you do get quite a lot of spray from the fallls. It is such an amazing rush being right up close to the falls. The cost is $15 per person and you can pre purchase tickets or you can buy them at the kiosk in the info booth at the top of the hill before you go down to the boat. There are elevators that take you down and back up from the dock. Make sure to do the Maid of the Mist its worth it!" - TripAdvisor Reviewer

"This is a must see attraction while you are at Niagara Falls New York. Going down the 175 foot elevator and coming out to the right of the American and Bridal Veil Falls is spectacular. This is an attraction that you can take your camera and on most days you can get some great photos. If you want to stay dry this is not the attraction for you to go on. I hope you don't miss this one. It does close at dusk because it is unsafe to be walking there in the dark. You will receive a raincoat and sandals to wear to keep your good shoes dry. The Botanical Gardens have always been one of the best aspects of being from South Buffalo. It is a beautiful place architecturally and it is fun and educational as well. The Botanical Gardens is located only minutes (2.3 miles/3.7 kilometers) from my home. The park surrounding it is a great place to go for a nice walk during the Spring and Summer! Features a glass conservatory designed by Frederick Law Olmsted with tropical and desert gardens, an arboretum and pinetum, shrub garden, and bog garden.
