Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Lyngen is one of the world's most beautiful and undisturbed Arctic regions. From this exclusive cabin you can enjoy the northern lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer. The cabin is by itself, with a spectacular view. You can hear and see the ocean from the terrace. You need to walk up 140 stairs to the cabin, or walk the access road. You can be a bit shocked by the steepness, but it's worth it :) You can not drive up so you have to be a bit sporty to rent this place.

Det er kort veg til høyfjellet for ski/toppturer/fotturer/jakt og nordlysopplevelser. Der er også scooterløype på vinterstid. Hytta har strøm, innlagt vann og badstu. Très agréable séjour, le logement correspondait totalement à notre attente pour aller skier dans les alentours. Logement agréable et fonctionnel. Très belle vue sur le fjord avec un beau barbecue intérieur.

Third time stayin at Villa Spåkenes, it was just as wonderful as the other times. The house is beautiful as well as the surroundings. When travelling with a dog, as I do, it's always a huge plus when there's a yard you can use and we love the one at spåkenes.

"Kelo Aurora" luxury cabin

Tolles Blockhaus, vor allem für Freunde von traditionellem Stil. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind gross und komfortabel, die Schlafzimmer z.T. eher klein, aber für jeweils eine Person (und somit für unsere Ansprüche) vollständig ausreichend. Die Kommunikation mit Jon erfolgte problemlos und die Antworten kamen immer sehr rasch und gästefreundlich. Ich kann das Haus wirklich empfehlen. Schade war, dass der Grillrost nicht geputzt war (wir haben dann auf das Grillieren verzichtet) und auch in der Küche noch einige Rückstände von den vorherigen Bewohnern zu sehen waren. Das sind aber kleine Kritikpunkte. Sollte Kilpisjärvi in einigen Jahren wieder unser Ziel werden, so ist diese Unterkunft sicherlich für uns wieder eine Option.
