You'll have access to a 78-square-foot house with two bedrooms and an electrified barn with two special sleeping areas. A total of 8 sleeping places. The cottage has a perfectly equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, air source heat pump, wood sauna, shower, indoor toilet and washing machine. From the sauna, you'll take a dip in a lake with a sandy bottom that gets slightly deeper. Great way to get there and in the surroundings good for outdoor, mushroom picking, and berry picking. BBQ canopy, 2 bikes, 2 kayaks, and a rowing boat also available to you.

There is no indoor shower in the cabin. Kouvola, Tykkimäki and Mielakka Ski Resort are only 20-25 minutes, and less than 2 hours drive from the metropolitan area.

Everything was great. Peaceful and beautiful setting, just the right cottage atmosphere but still huussit, dishwashing place, barn kitchen and sauna suitably modern, functional and well equipped. Gentle steam and swimming directly from the sauna. You can also customize the experience a little by ordering a sauna basket (strong recommendation!). A breakfast basket was also ordered, and this crowned everything with Helena's homemade rolls and fresh bread. Kolmiomaja offered the most beautiful spot for enjoying breakfast. Not forgetting the trio of dogs that offered joy to both human and dog lodgers. We'll be back 😍 here. Thank you, Helena!

This is a traditional cottage in a beautiful location. Especially the lakeside sauna and terrace were an excellent place to relax and enjoy the view. The wood fired sauna worked very well, and also the nearby fire pit for cooking. It’s roughly a 40km drive through beautiful Finnish countryside via Verla to the hiking trails in Repovesi national park - well worth the trip.

We spent two wonderful days at Pirjo and Kimmo's place! The breakfast was very varied and really delicious and Pirjo advised us directly what things we can do in Lappeenranta on the day. There is a sauna directly at the holiday home, we went swimming and canoeing. Everything is very quiet and you can really relax. If you like nature, you feel incredibly comfortable here and the entire stay was very nice for us!

We had a quiet and relaxing time at the house. Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with our travel date, as it thawed heavily shortly before we arrived and then froze again. The result was a rather demanding journey over heavily icy forest roads. With four-wheel drive, no problem and on site you could do well with spikes. But you think twice about whether you have to go shopping by car or not. After it had snowed again, that was no longer an issue, mind you with four-wheel drive! The house is quietly located directly on the lake. If you are looking for a break from everyday life and relaxation, I can only recommend winter as a travel time. We used the cold days for the sauna and took a few trips to the beautiful frozen lake landscape. Sanna was always easily accessible and provided us with information about the location and everything around it 👍 In terms of amenities, we didn't miss anything and we could imagine coming back 👋👋👋
