Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Space on one floor of 250m2 with a terrace. It meets high international standards and that is why our popularity is growing. The ski slopes and snowmobile trails directly from the yard. In this villa, which was completed in November - 23, you can enjoy the best aspects of Lapland in high quality. Scandinavian minimalism and materials are emphasized in the interior, the materials are timeless and the natural aesthetics jump out at you when you enter. The cabin is designed for two people, but with an extra bed, it can comfortably fit 4 people. Walking-,cycling - and skiing trails are a stone's throw away, so you can easily enjoy nature right from the villa's door.

Outdoor toilet, locksmith for firewood and bike&surizers, and bike washing area. Outside a water post, with a hose in the sauna with bath water. Wifi, electricity, TV. 2x120 cm bed, one with a loft and one sofa bed. Own linens and towels, cleaning on departure, as an extra service on behalf of the house. Pets welcome.

Villa Tonttula Saariselkä

The place was very nice and peaceful. Great location. Very close to ski trails and hiking trails. Suitable for those traveling with children. Good beds and bedding. The crockery was enough for a larger group. A nice addition to the sauna and hot tub. I can warmly recommend the stay to everyone.

Our stay at Minna and Jyrki's place was fantastic. Jyrki got us in contact with Minna and she welcomed us on the first day with a small tour of the house and with a lot of suggestions of what to do in the surroundings. They were always attentive to our questions and did a great job so we could enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend to stay there, it was overall great!

Villa Karhukumpu log house

We loved our stay at Jyrkis beautiful villa. It had everything one could wish for - sauna, hotpot, ice for bathing, equipment for snowhiking and cross country skiing. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the pool and do a barbecue at the kota. Nothing more to wish for - the stay was perfect and jyrki a very lovely host!

Rahkis Lodge Saariselkä

The cabin is the ideal place for the picture-perfect Lapland experience: Rustic but very tastefully furnished, "simple" but incredibly cozy and welcoming. The location is totally remote but in the best possible way - one definitely needs a car though. Jussi has been an incredible host - so helpful and kind! He has created a truly unique place and we feel very lucky to have had the chance to stay there. FABULOUS!

The accommodation is very well equipped and new. Snowshoes and toboggans are available. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Communication with Nina is very good and responsive. We will be back without hesitation.
