This is the place for◆ healing, retro, and off the beaten track travel! A house in a rainbow pine forest. This is a modern Japanese-style house newly built in January 2024. 2 minutes on foot from the station (airport line), and 5 minutes on foot to the sea, hot springs, and shopping center. You can also enjoy leisure and sports (golf, marine sports, hiking, and touring). Limited to one group per day, so you can use all the space. Right in front of it is Nijii-no-Matsubara, one of Japan's top three Matsubara pine forests. You can also walk to the beach through the pine forest or enjoy cycling. We also support long-term stays. (Price adjustment possible) The room There is a 14-tatami kitchen & dining room, 6-tatami Japanese-style room (additional use of 8-tatami Western-style room when booking for 4 people), toilet, washroom, and shower room. It is a safe, all-electric specification. Umeno-Yuekigyou is a 4-minute walk from Dazaifu Station, with a convenient convenience store, supermarket within a 1-2 minute walk, and restaurants nearby, ensuring a comfortable stay. This is a luxurious rental of a newly built, modern Japanese-style detached house that can accommodate up to 11 people. Free parking is available for 2 cars, so you can use it as a base for your trip to Kyushu. The main bedroom is equipped with a projector with an electric screen, and we have a contract with U-NEXT, so you can enjoy your favorite movies and dramas on a large screen. You can also enjoy stylish dining and drinks in the balcony area, where chairs and tables are available. The large living dining room is complete with a wooden single board table that can accommodate up to 8 people, and the sofa is a hotel-specified high-quality L-shaped sofa, providing a comfortable sitting experience. We are fully equipped with a washer and dryer, so you will have no trouble doing laundry even if you are staying for consecutive nights or long stays. We have a Nespresso coffee maker to help you relax from your travels. A map of nearby restaurants is available in the guidebook, so please use it as a reference for your meal.

160-year-old renovated kominka house. 2300 m² site, 170 m² building.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

A peaceful, heartwarming stay in a traditional Japanese village. The house is full of charm, the host is incredibly kind and inspiring, and the morning chats over breakfast were truly healing. I loved waking up to birdsong and falling asleep to frogs ，nature’s white noise. Even during Golden Week when most places were closed, I felt completely at peace. I’ll definitely be back!

Very good place to stay if you want to be far away from the city. The home was wonderful and ancestral. The room itself was very spacious and cozy. I had no issues sharing the rest of the home with the other three boys that are staying there full time. I wish check could've been sooner than 18h so I could've had time to enjoy the surroundings before dusk. The check in process was long, but it was because the host took the time to explain everything I needed to know in order to enjoy my stay.
