Kou San was a great host during my stay. He shared local recommendations ahead of time which was helpful. He also proactively checked in to ensure I have a great experience and was always responsive in a timely manner to my questions and requests. He also offered flexibility for my checked out time so I didn’t have to deal with the massy rainy weather on my last day. Thanks! The place is loaded in a quiet neighborhood and super close to two train stations to make getting around Tokyo easy. It is also within walking distance to the trendy Jiyugaoka area with many great coffee stores and bakeries, restaurants, boutiques and home goods stores and many more shopping options. It’s a cozy place for my Tokyo trip and I was happy with my choice and would consider to stay here again for my next trip.

A beautifully presented home in a quiet neighbourhood. There are lovely bakeries and restaurants around. It’s about 20mins on the train to the real hustle and bustle of Tokyo which suited our young family. Thanks for letting us stay!

We loved staying at Shimbashi West Section L! Concierge was extremely warm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was extremely smooth and easy. We loved the entire vibe of this place! The lounge was comfortable and had a tea, coffee and soft drink station with some snacks that you could help yourselves with. We arrived Wed and they have happy hour where they featured a few drinks for self serve. The overall room was thoughtfully designed and had storage under the bed. There's a bench, table and chair for you to sit and have meals. The room was furnished with appliances and their app had instructions. There were 2 ac units. The water pressure was great. The toilet & shower was a bit larger and there was counter space for stuff. In the halls, we could hear families with kids - the rooms were soundproof very well. We tried the sauna which was a great way to wind down and relax. I'd highly recommend staying here, it's clean, thoughtfully designed and made us feel right at home!

The home was peaceful, clean, and aesthetically appealing. All the amenities we needed were available, and the instructions on how to use the appliances were clear. It was tiring walking back to the house after a long day of touring, but the location is still great given that the area was not short of restaurants, groceries, and drugstores. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. They granted our request for early check-in and provided a storage for us to leave our luggages after check-out.

Great place with a lot of amenities I didn’t expect. Very clean and comfortable, I would live here if I could!

Super friendly host who attends to all the details. Clear instructions were given for all the electrical products, which is super helpful. Space is good for 3 people. Totally enjoyed the use of the bikes. Seasoning and free drinks were also provided. They even provided charging ports. Very thoughtful hosts indeed!

Masaki was an incredibly responsive and helpful host throughout our entire stay. Their directions were clear and extremely easy to follow, which made check-in a breeze. The home itself was absolutely beautiful—clean, well-organized, and clearly cared for with pride. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. This home was perfect for our family! The host was extremely responsive and helpful, and the location was perfect, not too far from the main areas, and close to everything we wanted to see.

Very nice host and tries to help you if you have a request or need help! Appartement is clean and there are 3 stations nearby. We were also able to use the electric bikes of the host :)

We were able to see Mt Fuji despite the fact that it’s been raining for a few days. The best part of being in the area were the hosts. They were an awesome elderly couple who loves hosting. They made my kids and I feel very welcome. We loved them. The rental unit was very spacious and great facility. This is a small town and away from Mt Fuji. The train or taxi can take you to the busier city in 15-20 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at Ootsuki’s- the location was so walkable. We walked to the train station every day and enjoyed our path through town. The Airbnb was comfortable and the kitchen worked perfectly for the small meals we cooked during our stay. The whole apartment was perfectly clean. She was very responsive and a quick communicator and so so kind❤️ she saw we were artists when she cleaned our room during our stay and gave us a small easel as a gift before we left- we would love to come back one day!

Is nice to have small family to stay in and new experiences to have train station next to this unit. My son very enjoyed to stay in and able to watch the train from the window pass by. Easy to locate this unit, free 1parking lot if self drive. Convenient to access Hakone either by driving or by train.

It was a very nice stay. First of all, the boss carefully prepared the welcome card, and it can be seen that the two of them are committed to running the two hotels. The owner is Chinese, and he knows our needs very well, has prepared the usual temperature water, and I recommend a good seafood self-help. The room's facilities are new and clean, and the boss's enthusiasm makes people feel at home.Next time in the autumn, I hope I can still stay in such a good room.

The airbnb is very near to the station. The host even waited for us in the train station to help with the luggages. She was very friendly and recommended a lot of restaurants nearby that we can try. The neighborhood is very peaceful and it felt relaxing after a long day of touring around the city. The room is very spacious and enough for 4 people to freely move around. It is very clean, air condition is cold and there are towels provided. The towels could also be washed and changed upon request. On top of that, the host responds quickly and also sends us daily updates of weather forecasts. Since rain was forecasted during our stay, there were also a lot of umbrellas ready on the first floor. Overall, this is one of the nicest airbnbs we have stayed at. I recommend this place a lot and will definitely book this room again whenever we come back to Tokyo in the future!

Yanapi is an amazing host. She has gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The place is gorgeous and has everything you will need during your stay. It was also squeaky clean. Also you can’t beat the location. Don’t look for a stay elsewhere while visiting Kamakura.

The host has good taste and lots of nice utensils and decoration in the room.The room is not big, but functional and clean.The house is very well located, it is quiet and life is very convenient.The surroundings are also good, both stations are very close.It was cozy and nice to have at home.

Gimmicky. I want to get that out of the way right now. This property is capitalizing off of having an onsen nearby with traditional looking Japanese bedding and decor. That's what got me, and it might be what's getting you...I would say that's probably not worth it. The place itself is fine. The bedding is fine, but in the end I chose this place over other cheaper options for the novelty, I feel I could have gotten a little bit better value elsewhere, but still overall happy with what I got and what I paid. I used the onsen once during my two week stay. I really like onsens, but this one is small, busy, and I just wasn't a fan. Service was awesome. He spoke great English, and helped me bring my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Overall, despite starting out critical here, this place is really nice and I like the quiet area next to nice walking paths. Lastly, I wish the place had a small dining table and chairs. You basically have to eat at a small low table on the floor.

Clean, convenient, and spacious - absolutely would stay here again!

After a long day of traveling from city to city, it was very convenient for us to do a self check-in at Shunki’s Airbnb in the evening! The space was cozy and we felt comfortable for our last night in Tokyo! Also, the host was friendly and responsive. We recommend staying at this place!

Again we had a brilliant time at Akari san's apartment this year, Staying Akari san's place is one of highlight of our trip. The reason for this is not only the flat's location, size, layout and ease of use, I always feel at home. The rooms had been renovated and I could feel the story behind Akari's new design in many places. The linen textured walls and the kintsugi (gold-plated wood joinery) that connects the before and after renovation made it clear how much Akari cares about this room and the guests who stay here. The linen was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, every time she remembered that my daughter and I wanted to sleep in separate areas, and was thoughtful enough to set up a comfortable bed in the living room for us. The only drawback is that this room is too popular and it is difficult to book the expected number of days. This can't be helped, but we hope to be able to stay a little longer next year than we did this year.

For Tokyo, with this price, it's really a bang for your buck! Ventilation and window wasn't that great, but the place is spacious and comfortable. It got everything you need. What I like is the shared room where you can cook, wash or even talk with other guests. The access is 24/7 using lock pin. Min also provides a personal coffee set for his guests to brew coffee, mmm.. nice!! Just beware that the toilet doesn't have bidet. Overall it was a nice experience! The location also walkable to metro and bus. Min is also very supportive host! He replied blazingly fast in case of problem! During check-in, Min waited in front of the place to guide us. He also offers free drink in his coffee shop, sadly we missed it because of our busy schedule :( I would definitely come again if I visit Asakusa in the future.

The airbnb was a great location and near the station and we enjoyed our stay.
