Chandera Kothi is right on the Betwa River, on the edge of Orchha. It offers serene, high-quality accommodation. Made from pressed earth and mudbrick and using reclaimed materials - with a focus on sustainability - CK is surrounded by crops and greenery. A genuinely boutique property, the 4 rooms are spacious with good ensuite wetroom, and gorgeously decorated by a combination of new and period furniture and decoration. There was good wifi. Rooms are accessed up 10-ish stairs - so CK would not be for those with mobility issues. The food was something special - local dishes, prepared on site and served outside in good weather or in a charming mubrick pavilion. We went vegetarian and there was a generous array of options. Breakfast was included, but other meals are available for reasonable prices. In addition to the 2 staff who looked after us, Madhur was a helpful, kind and interesting host - our thanks. This place has something special that sets it apart. Absolutely recommended.

It was great staying with manoj!!!! He was very helpful and nice to communicate!!! He was always available there if you need anything !!!! The place was really clean and at a peaxeful suffounding!!! It was very near from all the heritage sights at a walkable distance!!!! They provide additional services for food and breakfast at an additional cost !!!! Overall it was great expewrience!!!

We arrived in Khajuraho at a time when there was a rush of visitors as the famous Khajuraho dance festival was ongoing. There was some confusion about the number of guests in our team and Anjul was doubtful whether they would be able to accommodate all of us. But the whole team at the bnb went out of their way to make us feel at home. , the rooms were clean and tidy, the air conditioning was very efficient and most rooms have a wonderful view of lush green fields. The host and his team were ready with a wonderful warm breakfast in the morning. In fact, in our experience in the recent past, the breakfast part in bnb has been ignored by most hosts, but with Anjul and his team this was not the case. A bonus for our 2 boys was a trip to the host’s village about half an hour’s drive away where they had home cooked lunch in the fields. Would definitely recommend this place for its warmth and care.

place is really beautiful. very big rooms. washroom is also very big and clean and neat. well maintained. food is good. staff is friendly and helpful. we got the kid food how we wanted. highly recommend this place to families couples and bachelors. peaceful area. sumit bhaiya is very friebdly helpful. and we had memorable stay..

The staff is very polite and genuinely nice. I brought two dogs with me but they were very accommodating and nice. Genuinely nice staffs.

food was great and its a easy to find , near by railway station , airport and Ravi host is great as he does it all by himself , he arranged all props everything for my pre wedding shoot as well

Janki vilas is situated right opposite the river where there is daily aarti ceremonies taking place. Its walking distance from all Orchhas attractions so its ideal for a 2 day visit. however the main reason you should stay at this place is because of Sanjay ji. He is so helpful with anything you need and always trying to find a way to make things easier for you. He is full of interesting stories and there is not a dull moment when he is around. Thank you for making our trip enjoyable Sanjay ji and hope we bump into each other another time :)
