From the accommodation, you can walk to the center of the castle town, such as Usuki Castle Ruins, Hachimachi Oji, and Nioza Historical Road, in about 10 minutes. You can also enjoy a stroll while feeling the history and local cuisine. Nearby areas include Sagaseki-cho, famous for its horse mackerel and mackerel, Tsukumi, where you can eat kabosu, amberjack, and Bungo tuna, and Saiki, famous for its seafood, all easily accessible by car or train. 川辺の一軒宿 Togu tsubakiyama

It is a renovated, room-only, private house surrounded by trees, located on a stone wall where rivers converge. There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come and go on the river next to the inn to play in the river and go to Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can play in the river, BBQ with the ingredients you bring, You can also enjoy a fire. (Please be careful when handling fire.) When it rains, you can enjoy the ingredients you brought over the charcoal fire in the Irori fireplace in the room, or cook while listening to the sound of the river, as we also provide cooking utensils, a range, and dishes. If you go up the promenade along the river, there is also "Kappa Falls" about 150 meters away. Please prepare food and beverages for dinner, etc. before check-in. It takes 20 minutes by car to the supermarket. The road is unpaved and narrow 400 m before the old house, so it is difficult to find, If you come to "Camu Tsubakiyama", we will guide you.

This spacious facility can accommodate up to 10 people. It is suitable for large groups. We deliver 100% natural hot spring water from the "Kannawa Onsen" which is the most famous hot spring in Beppu. Please relax and refresh yourself in a soothing atmosphere that gently soothes both mind and body.

The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
