It has a suntrap back garden and is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. It's ideal for a relaxing holiday. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Starling view is situated on our working sheep and beef farm. We love where we live and work and we want you to enjoy a slice of that too. Within walking distance to two country pubs and a lovely community owned cafe with homemade cakes.
