Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Saint John

My group & I enjoyed our stay at jolly harbour hosted by amy & iris! the place was spacious for the four of us and was equipped with the essentials for our trip! beautiful walkout dock/balcony as well! amy was responsive throughout the trip and check in & out was a breeze!! location was also great as there was many delicious restaurants within walking distance or even by car, still quite central to st. john’s and other great spots. thanks again!!!

Posto molto bello, tranquillo con una bellissima vista sulla baia. La cucina è all’aperto ed attrezzata. Possibilità di pranzare e/o cenare con una bellissima vista. Consiglio di affittare anche un auto, la proprietaria Rochelle mette a disposizione un suv o una jeep 4x4 (ottimo prezzo) fondamentali x visitare alcune spiagge dell’isola Per raggiungere la casa la strada è un po’ dissestata ma vi divertirete x raggiungerla. La proprietaria è molto simpatica e disponibile, pronta a rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda. Avevamo l’aereo alle 7 pm e non ci ha creato problemi per il check out. Insomma se volete passare una vacanza tranquilla e molto intima il posto è ideale. Supermarket a 10 min

Spacious, clean, modern apartment, lovely bathroom, really comfy massive bed. & the host was so proactive, helpful and friendly. Couldn’t fault anything. 10/10!

This is our second visit to Shayne and Gary’s place because it’s perfect in every way: beautiful, extremely clean unit in a walkable and beautiful area with a great view. The nearby restaurants, which are less than a 5-minute walk away, are excellent: Thai Lemongrass, Colibri, and 5 Senses. Catherine’s Cafe is further away, but we also found it to be excellent. We have already rebooked for next year.

What a perfect place! Location overlooking the marina was stunning. Walking distance to Nelson’s Dockyard and lots of amazing restaurants and the most beautiful beach. Having flexibility to check in and out early was hugely appreciated. The gym is the best and makes this place unique. What a perfect stay!

Paola’s place was compact but very cosy and beautifully located. The view from the balcony was fantastic, the kitchen well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and was necessary as the apartment can get very hot. We would be very happy to return and hopefully for longer next time.

An excellent place to stay in Antigua! The place is perfect for a party of two with amazing views and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Shayne and Gary are also fantastic hosts. They offered plenty of recommendations and will help you make the best of your vacation. Looking forward to staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Antigua! We rented a car, which allowed us to travel to specific destinations on our schedule! While we walked to the restaurants in Jolly Harbour as well as the Epicurean grocery store almost daily, it was helpful to drive to the supermarket when we were going to be purchasing heavy items, such a water. We walked to North Beach several times and enjoyed the sunset almost daily during our stay! While we did not need much, when we reached out to Majorie, she was quick to respond! Thanks for the memories!

Good experience

We stayed for 4 weeks at Franz & Korin's Villa. It had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful time in Jolly Harbour. Franz was excellent at communicating with us and provided us with information before arriving and during our stay. He set up our driver, Randi who is awesome, for transport. The condo was spacious and was enjoyed by us and our friends. Bedrooms were large with bathrooms in each. The kitchen has all the utensils and pots you will need to cook. We used their covered deck a lot for eating and relaxing. We loved being on the water and were lucky they had two stand-up paddle boards. We took leave from the deck to paddle the harbour. Franz organized a golf cart which you will need if you don't have a car. We loved the location of the villa. It was 5 minutes from North Beach. A beautiful beach to do yoga, swim, paddle, and watch sunsets. Thank you Franz & Korin. As we say in French, jusqu'à la prochaine fois! Until next time!

Great place.

We (family of 4) stayed several magical days at Villa Isola over Christmas and New Year. We were met by Irvin who was very welcoming, gave a tour of the villa and answered our questions. The villa was spotlessly clean, the kitchen beautiful with every pot, pan, utensil and amenity that you can think of...and then more eg parasols, cool bags. Just fantasticly equipped. The bedrooms were beautiful, both had a balcony which was a surprise and they felt very private. The deck out the back is as beautiful as the pictures, our son spent many hours catching fish off the deck, pretty sure we saw 2 small dolphins and a turtle surface whilst we were watching the world go by. Jolly Harbour beaches were fantastic, we took our kayaks around the bay at North beach, had the whole beach to ourselves!! Amazing. Supermarket was perfectly located and the couple of restaurants we tried were lovely, although a little expensive. We rarely go back to the same place but this may be the exception!!

We are a family of 6, with kids between 5 and 12 yo. The villa & resort worked perfectly for us: on the beach (very kid friendly), full access to the resort facilities (incl. kids pool, kayaks, paddlers). The resort is a beautiful property, very clean and with friendly / helpful employees. We had no concerns with the older kids roaming around on their own. One note: resort restaurants are quite pricey for guests who are not on all inclusive, we mostly cooked in the villa but the all inclusive may make sense for others ($135/day adults, $75 kids). The villa itself is very spacious and welcoming, the "guest house" set-up worked great (no direct connection between the two buildings, but a few feet walk outside). Fully AC. Kitchen is very functional and is very well furnished. For people looking to work, wi-fi works well. Private outside space is beautiful, and the grill is great - but recommend mosquito repellant. Robertha was super responsive when needed. In short: highly recommended

Great house with the best location on the beach. Only thing - we did not know this is inside and part of a resort with resort routines for checking in and out and coming and going. Charming house and outside deck is top notch!

Frances is the best host I have ever encountered with Airbnb. She went above and beyond in helping me before during and after the booking. The villa is perfect set within St James Club but not overtaken by it. The quiet beach is seconds away and the views are heavenly. You dont really know you are in St James Club if you want to be away from it all yet it is there on tap if need be. The security is brilliant and we will return again. Thank you Frances.

Anique and her husband Brandon are really great hosts. Very attentive, easy to communicate, they do not put distance yet not disturb you with their presence at all. They both do their job with a good will and high professionalism. I might say they are the best hosts I've ever met, and it is the very truth. They easily go out of their way to fulfil every request, and to answer any question. We felt them like old good friends. We shared great moments together and had a lot of memories to remember. The property is in a quiet and very safe area. It si exactly as described - with everything you need - shining bath, hot water with a good pressure (if s.o. need it to be hot), very comfortable beds with new linen, the kitchen space is enough large and also extremely clean, there is a fridge space for guests to put some snack. Next time I visit Antigua, I would meet them for sure. And I totally recommend to everyone to stay at their property. I bet you will thank me after that.

We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at the Donhenri House and it was our home away from home. The area is quiet, peaceful and safe. The home had lots of space for our needs, a huge backyard and we were quite comfortable. If coming from the airport, make the left before Ocean Point Hotel (if you see the hotel you've gone too far). AC in all the bedrooms and living room was amazing plus having access to a washer and dryer! The beds were also very comfortable we had the best sleep every night. We also really enjoyed the smart tv in the living room with all the streaming channels. Mr. Leland the caretaker is very responsive if you have any questions or issues. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
