Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint John

From me my wife and 2 kids arrived we were met by buba with the warmest welcome. The cottage is like a home away from home. Buba has gone far and beyond to make sure we were take care of from taking us to eat, grab essentials and a lovely day at pigeon point beach. This is the destination to stay for a nice relaxing get away!! Will be staying again.

Kristty was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the booking experience and during the stay. She also organised a trip to the local supermarket and my next hotel, which was most helpful as I didnt have a car. If you're looking for true peace and quiet away from the touristy hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you.

We stayed at Mario and Jikesy place for a month while visiting Antigua for the 1st time. I was hesitant at 1st while booking as I didn't see no reviews but I'm glad that I followed my mind. The place was well kept in a very peaceful neighborhood. The local people made us feel right at home by providing us with coconuts,mangoes and other fruits. There was ample supply of towels and bed linen. We enjoyed our stay and made some friends. I would definitely recommend this place. Also, I would love to stay here again.

We fell in love with this beautiful location and comfortable house. Simonetta and Mark were kind, generous and attentive hosts - thank you for making my Birthday one to remember! The space and facilities were perfect. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and fabulous outdoor space - the views from the wrap around veranda were exceptional. Galleon bay itself is a lovely area, you can easily get to English Harbour either by car or the water taxi from the beach, safe swimming and the national park trail on your doorstep. Fantastic atmosphere and food at the loose canon beach bar ( although you will hear the parties at the house it was never a problem) - can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Deniscia and her family were a big part of making this trip memorable and special. They were very thoughtful, considerate, kind, and generous. The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The washing machine was a great addition- it worked well And fast. The location is great, surrounded by lush garden, beautiful flowers in a quiet and local neighborhood with wonderful and helpful neighbors. It is close to several of the island’s beautiful beaches- close to Pigeon Point, English Harbour and one of our favorites, Fig Tree Drive. A great and picturesque drive with fruit stands, local shops, galleries, ice cream, and beautiful beaches along the western coast. We tried a different one everyday and drove all over the island. We came as guests and left as friends. We cannot wait for our return and to bring more friends and family with us to join in on the fun. This home and its hosts & friends are a gem.

We had an amazing time at Sara's place. She gave great recommendations and always super responsive. My favorite part was the back patio that looks out into the ocean. Also the breeze and sound from the water is amazing at night. I will definitely be going to this place again!

Our stay at Brian's place was great! House is very well stocked, very spacious with two opposite bedrooms , each having it's own bathroom, A/C, and huge living room in the middle, with high ceilings. Kitchen has all you need, and what came really handy was fryer too. Great comfort. Location was great for us as it was central to the island,. You do need a car to move around, but it is equal distance to every major beach on the island, no matter what direction. At all times we felt safe, like at home. Finally, Brian is really great host, always checked if we needed anything, and helped us initially when there was an issue with car rental agency, by finding an alternative transport for us. I recommend his place to anyone, and if we are back to Antigua , we will certainly rent his place again!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus verbracht. Mit dem Auto, dass wir zur Verfügung bekommen haben muss man nur 5min. nach links oder rechts fahren, um an weiße Strände zu kommen, die zum großen Teil leer waren. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und haben alle eine Klimaanlage, sowie Flachbildschirme. In der Küche gab es beeindruckend viele Haushaltsgeräte, sowie 2 Schränke mit Lebensmitteln und Utensilien für den Notfall. Man hat den Eindruck, dass der Besitzer des Hauses nicht an Gäste vermietet, sondern an Freunde. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es einen kleinen Pool, der täglich benutzt wurde. In der Nähe gibt es auch 2 kleine Läden für kleinere Einkäufe. Ulrike ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, die mit Rat und Tat zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar war. Einmal gab es Probleme mit der Dusche, innerhalb von 2 Stunden war Ulrike da und konnte das Problem lösen. Insgesamt gesehen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt nächstes Jahr wieder!

If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place with a beautiful Antigua view, then look no further. Mako’s place is spacious and the view is to die for. She stayed in contact with us, which made getting around very easy. Will definitely be back.

This villa was only a few km from English Harbour situated on a quiet hilltop overlooking the bay near St. James Club. Our stay provided our family a great starting point to explore the beaches and English Harbour. Not related to the house, it took us a few days to get accustomed to driving on the left and being on dirt roads. You must have AWD or 4 wheel drive to access this rental. Lots of towels and beach chairs made our stay that much easier. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Photos are spot on and represent the house perfectly. Host was easily available and accommodating. Thank you!

Location, location, location! The deck of this condo is directly over the water, overlooking a beautiful secluded beach. Walking distance to a cool old fort and another lovely beach. The pool area is very nice, as well. We had a blast in this comfortable (though not fancy) home.

Idyllic If you want "Peace and Tranquillity" With Birds including the flitting "Humming Bird" joining you for breakfast on the patio, a gheko and the occasional passing Mongoose. I must mention Sharon, the house keeper and Markin the gardener who both do a marvellous job keeping the complex very clean and tidy ! Many thanks to Gabriela and Douglas for making my stay SO enjoyable

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at this villa! It was the perfect setup and amount of space for us all to spread out. The best part was definitely hanging out in the backyard space with the amazing views of Falmouth Harbour and looking out to sea (you have views of both). It was great to have outdoor couches and tables/chairs to hang out in the shade, and there was always a lovely breeze! The pool was great, too! The host answered all of my questions in a very timely manner, both before and during the trip- she gave us some much appreciated tips and advice for restaurants and grocery stores in the area. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to stay in the English Harbour area of the island. Although it’s a bit farther from the airport, it is our favorite part of the island so we were happy to be based on this side. I would also highly recommend doing an excursion with Barefoot Antigua for anyone looking for a boat excursion :)

We really liked this place. It was both close to the facilities around Jolly Harbour, but away from the main shops and houses, which may it feel really private. The sun terrace and pool were great spaces to hang out in as the evening set in and the front room was spacious and relaxing after dark. Each bedroom has a really nice en suite facility and large shower and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Walter came to see us a couple of times and was very friendly. There is currently some construction going on futher down the hill. Most of the time it was pretty quiet, but only a couple of times was there a little more noise. Walter couldn't apologise enough and even gave us a bottle of wine, which was very nice of him! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Peaceful and lovely house. Perfect setting to relax and enjoy a great time with friends. We loved everything about it, the pool , the rooms and living room, the AC, the back view. Kitchen had everything we needed. Walkable to supermarket and beach. Host was responsive and very nice. Made great use of the portable Bluetooth speaker. We were glad to be able to do everything by foot. Beaches hopping was easy with city bus which is a short walk from bus stop. Jolly beach is a short walk away. We were 4 friends and really enjoyed this rental house. We felt right at home.

Vanessa offers a tranquil environment; we found it to be a true home away from home. Modern features with an attentive host ‐ whose exceptionally thoughtful to have provided drinks & snacks. We'll surely visit again!

Had a really great time in Antigua and Shawn and his Airbnb were a big part of this! Firstly Shawn was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a really convenient location, close enough to shops, beach and town, all just a short drive away, but also in a private and quite secluded area. The apartment was comfortable and cosy, and felt like a home away from home, would definitely stay again!
