Centrally located in Peel this detached studio is spacious and quiet. Constructed in 2022 the studio is 36 metres square with well equipped kitchenette (no oven) and en-suite shower room. Facilities: a super-king sized bed (also available as two twin beds), desk, armchairs /footstools, TV, dining table and chairs. Located on the TT course at Ballagarey Corner (w3w wanted vests baker), on a main bus route, approximately 3.5 miles from Douglas and just a few minutes drive to the nearest pubs and shops. In a rural setting with access to country walks. Well behaved dogs welcome but they may not be left in the property alone.

Curlew

Dive into the history of this unique property. During WW2, Curlew cottage was part of the RAF Dalby site, and used as the NAAFI Kitchen and NAAFI Staff Quarters for those working in the receiving blocks (where they remain today). This formed a passive defence system that used steel-guyed transmitting masts and a pair of timber receiving towers, situated on the land by the sea, to to create maximum dispersal and deception.
