Much loved cottage with a family history

'Pennywort' is nestled above the timeless and unspoilt valley of Nanquidno, a birdwatchers haven. Having already been enjoyed by 3 generations of our own family, the cottage is now somewhere our guests regularly return to, some for over 30 years! The garden is a beautifully peaceful area to sit and read, eat outdoors, watch the buzzards and witness spectacular summer sunsets. A 10 minute stroll down the hill following the stream to the old water mill, brings you to the sea and the SW coast path.

A lovely quiet place to recharge body and soul

Our home is in the heart of 'Poldark Country' in West Cornwall close to the cliffs and moors. The area is renowned for the views, the light and the open space. The accommodation is a self contained flat attached to our house with it's own separate entrance. We are in a small village with a pub and Meadery less than 2 minutes walk away. Other attractions nearby are Geevor Tin Mine and St Just. St Ives, with it's artistic buzz and beaches, and busy Penzance are an easy drive or bus ride away.

Arty miners cottage, wild tin coast of Botallack

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Cosy Cornish Cabin set in woods.

Cosy and relaxing 2 bedroom cabin with private garden and woods. We are based very close to the coast with easy access to Lands end airport for Isles of Scillys trips. We are a small working small holding with pigs and chickens. Our location offers marvellous walks all around and also you can enjoy a 20 min walk into St Just for food and drinks. St Just has a number for lovely cafes and pubs. We are based in a lovely quiet location with a 1/4 mile lane. Bedrooms - 1 double, 1 bunkbed room.

Bosorne Shepherds hut, is located at the top of the beautiful National Trust owned Cot valley and five minutes from the Southwest coastal path, it is also a 10/15 minute walk from the lovely town of St Just with it's many dog friendly shops, cafes and pubs. The hut sits in its own fully enclosed private garden bordered by fields and our flock of sheep, we also have llamas and rheas and emu’s. The hut has a private fully enclosed garden area. Seating and Hot Tub situated under cover. No WiFi

It offers an open plan living space with roaring woodburner together with dining area and fully equipped modern kitchen. The rooms are light and airy with contemporary furniture and local art work. Up the slightly steep painted staircase there’s a double bedroom (with bathroom leading off) and a twin bedroom. Please note: access to the bathroom is through the double bedroom.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Tiny House as a base, it is very comfortable and cosy. There are plenty of local amenities to access for eating out and staying in. Old stone cottage, quiet location, great views

David was easy going and very pleasant to deal with. The cottage was lovely. David ensured we were aware that the cottage has no hot water, but it was of no issue - we used the kettle for hot washing up water. The shower is hot with a good strength. Perfect, quiet location for access to Senna by car, and St Just by foot. Great food in St Just, and a good Coop. Private parking, and a lovely garden that takes the sun morning til evening . Recommended.

Lovey cottage. Our 9 and 6 year olds were perfectly happy in their sleeping bags on the sofa. Very good value and right in the middle of some beautiful walks and beaches. Villagers very friendly also.

Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommended! We had the pleasure of staying at Karen's beautiful cottage, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with thoughtful goodies a lovely touch after a long drive. The cottage itself is absolutely picturesque, inviting, and so comfortable. The garden was perfect for our pooches, offering plenty of space, and the area was wonderfully quiet, tucked away from the main road. It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in such a peaceful spot! The location is ideal for walks; you can head to Cape Cornwall and the charming village without needing the car, and there are several beautiful sandy beaches only a short drive away. Karen was a wonderful host the cottage was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need, and the extra touches really went above and beyond. Could have stayed longer, sad to leave, Overall, it was a perfect tranquil getaway.

Victorian Terrace in St Just

We have had such a lovely stay at Will and Jofie's. The house was exactly how it was described and full of character. We had everything we needed and the communication with them was spot on. The central location to the town was perfect. We found an absolute favourite cafe called The Dog and Rabbit which we visited more than once, although there was a good choice of many. We loved Kurt Jackson's gallery and walking in the surrounding areas. There's so many places to discover and get of the beaten track and tourist traps! We were spoilt for choice for beaches and coves to explore. It was very cosy and a comfortable stay indeed and we will definitely be booking again! Thanks Will and Jofie!

Thyme Cottage is a fabulous location from which to explore St Just and its wonderful surrounding countryside. It is a small traditional cottage of which there are many other examples in the town, and is just five minutes walk from the centre of this bustling community. It was great to have the enclosed garden which was such a suntrap while we were there.
