Beachfront holiday rental in Saint Michael

Coralita 5 was breathtaking! Incredible views and an amazing beach bar/restaurant within a few min swim or walk. The villa has everything you need with some awesome extras like full scuba gear and beach towels. The AC worked great and the stay was beautifully maintained. The beach right down the steps was the nicest beach we saw and the lights at night made for some awesome swimming. It’s in an ideal area of Barbados and cannot wait to return.

Wow Coralita is a little Gem! Yes you can hear cars but this is like the whole of Barbados. The view is absolutely breathtaking and you can't hear them on the sea side of the apartment. Snorkelling is amazing with large shoals of fish and big, small and colourful everything you can name. La Cabane down on the beach is very good restaurant and lovely quiet beach. We got the buses around and visited the local supermarket 15mins walk away and plenty of local bars and restaurants. Michele is very quick to respond to any questions and the housekeeping staff very good. Would definitely go back! Thanks for having us.

My family stayed for only three nights at Prospect House and it was more than comfortable for us. A major highlight was Sam who was very quick to respond to any question or concern via text, call, or in person! We felt right at home here and were sad to leave - on our last morning we were graced with a visit from a family of Green Monkeys in the backyard - so cool to have nature so close to the house. We loved the security of locking the front gate up at night and when we left for the day. The location was convenient to get to/from the airport as well as all the great restaurants on the west side. Thank you Prospect House Team for a great vacation!

do not look any further. BOOK THIS PLACE! I stayed in Unit 3. so lovely. the staff was so friendly. the unit looked EXACTLY like the photos that are posted. water pressure was great. water got hot very fast. clean and smelled good. I have zero complaints.

We stayed for one night before flying back home from Bridgetown. Couldn’t really get a better location in Bridgetown, just across the road from the beach and plenty bars and restaurants within a stones throw. Good public transport options too that go right by the house. Despite this, the house was quiet and it didn’t feel like you were on the main road.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

Great location near beach, supermarket and a couple of lovely restaurants. Secure parking / gated building. Pool area nice too.

Our stay at Zinnia was great. Spent alot of time at Paynes beach which we loved. Katrina’s condo matches description and most affordable. Lovely little pool and sitting area. Bikini beach had good food , nice little beach and really nice vibe.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Philip's condo for a week, and it was an incredible experience. The location is perfect, situated near the most beautiful beaches on the west side of Barbados. It's also conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and the bus line, making transportation a breeze. Philip's communication was excellent both before and during my stay, ensuring everything went smoothly. The apartment itself is modern and well-updated, providing a comfortable and stylish environment. After a long day at the beach, the pool was a fantastic place to relax and unwind. Overall, I highly recommend Philip's condo for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Barbados!

June and Stephan were very accessible and helpful. On our first night she drove us to the grocery store to make sure we had all the items that we needed. They introduced us to people who could take us on tours/ fishing trips. The swimming pool was a wonderful addition it was a private setting. It was nice to set on the balcony and watch the monkeys. It would have been better to rent a car but we weren’t comfortable driving on the opposite side of the road/car.

Great flat in a great location. This is one of the nicest flats we have stayed in at Banyan Court. It’s light and airy and has a real homely beach vibe. Kitchen has everything you need and having 2 bathrooms made life easier. Lovely view out over the pool and nice balcony to relax on. Air conditioning in bedrooms work well and you get a cool through breeze in the lounge and kitchen. Fantastic stay and great flat.

Patty’s place was a home from home. Great views into the complex grounds, pool was very quiet and a real bonus at the end of a long day of site seeing. The kitchen was well equipped and lay out of the condo was very spacious. Location was great. We used the ZR taxis which run every minute (literally) and are cheap as chips to get around the island. And Carlisle Bay is just a 7 minute walk from the apartment. We used several of Patty’s restaurant recommendations and all were good. Bali Bar for the fist night which was 5 minutes from the apartment and on the beach and very relaxed, ideal to adjust to the time zone difference. We also used Tapas which was great food and fantastic views, also Savvy’s which is several food trucks on Carlisle Bay with a big bar, music and plenty of food choices. Thank you Patty for being a wonderful host, we will definitely recommend your accommodation and will use it again if we come back

Heidi'a place is a lovely spot, very close to Carlisle Bay. It is clean, spacious and has lots of little things handy for a warm holiday (snorkelling gear, beach floats, etc.). The pool on the premises is clean and very quiet. I even got to visit with some local monkeys that came by to say hello. Heidi is extremely responsive and helpful. The only real downside was the road noise, especially on the master bedroom side, but no fault of the owner or the unit itself. The road noise was mostly noticeable on the weekend. I am a farm girl from Canada, so I'm not used to any noise at all. I think I'm just a bit sensitive! There is a gas station just around the corner which was very handy. There also is a Chinese restaurant just down the street that was tasty and was good value for the money. Thank you for providing a home away from home!

Ann is an exceptional host. Ann demonstrated great flexibility and responsiveness from our initial pre booking enquiries all the way through to our checking out after 13 wonderful days in Ann’s beautiful home. Upon arrival Ann took great care to explain everything we needed to know about the property, how things worked, the refuge regime, local information etc etc. As a host Ann’s overriding concern was for our enjoyment throughout our stay. Ann is in no way condescending as one previous reviewer suggested, Ann is simply a thorough, thoughtful and warm host. The property itself is truly fully equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and if anything is even better than the photographs suggest. The views are wonderful, the locality extremely convenient being within easy walking distance of a good sized supermarket, lovely sandy beach and very good restaurants. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Villa Sophara.

My family and I had an excellent stay at Mark's place. It is located in a peaceful area and inside was comfortable and completely felt like home. We appreciated that each bedroom had it's own bathroom which made it much easier when getting ready each day to go out. It was a two minute walk to the beach which we loved and it was very close to Bridgetown. Mark is a great host and was very quick to reply to any questions that we had. We will definitely rent again in the future.

5Stars I had a fantastic stay at mercys place! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Communication with the host was smooth and timely, and they were very accommodating with check-in and local recommendations. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made the stay feel like home. I would definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t recommend this apartment enough. The location is perfect, we wanted to explore the island and enjoy beaches with our 11year old. The property is within walking distance to Bridgetown plus there is a bus stop outside so you can jump around to other towns with ease. The beaches are honestly mind blowing, as first time visitors to the island we couldn’t believe the beautiful coastline literally over the road from the property! Chris is an awesome host and was so welcoming and helpful. He gave us some great recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat at, and was very responsive when we had questions whilst staying. The apartment is so spacious, very comfortable, lovely and cool which we appreciated, and sitting in the beautiful garden was a treat. With an added bonus of 3 lovely dogs whom we’ll miss very much! Real gem of a listing, we’ll definitely be back!

Zaid and his family were great hosts

As previously mentioned you might be a bit worried about driving past the electricity station, but the apartments are set back and have a large private garden and you do not see the power plant. You walk onto the beach directly from the house and can access paradise beach which is so quiet . The rooms are large and airy with well equipped kitchen. There are two shower rooms and large comfy beds with air conditioning. Ceiling fans in all rooms and large private terraces leading into the garden. Judy was so responsive and helped when we locked ourselves out of the safe. I would come back again in a heartbeat and am loathe to share this great spot. We did have a car, but you could manage with local buses, and once in the complex, you can just relax.

Beautiful house, very nicely done. The house is walking distance from the beach and some night activities. It is also a short drive or walk to various points of interest. Loved it! One thing to note, if you are staying for a week or longer, bring extra towels since a washer/dryer is not available.

We had a very lovely stay for over a week at this beautiful home. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It was way more beautiful and accommodating than the pictures show. There was a lot of space, gorgeous gardens, waterfall, outdoor shower, surrounding beaches, restaurants within walking distance but close early. You will most definitely need to plan a car service or rent a vehicle for your stay if you need more than 1 restaurant and astonishingly beautiful beaches. Everything could want to do is within 3-10 miles. Amazing amazing amazing home!!!!

I’ve always had a good AirBnB experience but Elvira and Amando were the nicest hosts we’ve ever had. They were so welcoming but overly so. If you’re a beach person this apartment is excellent as it is a 2 minute walk to a wonderful beach (to be fair there are lots). There is a beach bar 5 minutes walk one way and a lovely beach restaurant 20 mins walk the other way. Beyond that you might need a car, as there is a good deal to explore around the island , although the local taxi app ’PickUp’ works well. The apartment was perfect for our 3 weeks and a very well equipped kitchen (rare for AirBnB) helped. Whilst the apartment was on a quiet road the main road nearby was a bit noisy.
