Holiday rentals with beach access in Sakumono

The host and house manager were excellent upon my arrival. I was greeted at the gate and given a tour of the property. I arrived after a long travel day and morning appointment and though exhausted, I was treated with a lovely fruit bowl (Mangoes are my favorite). Though the neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe, it is walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the local beach clubs. There are also small shops to buy small snacks, toiletries, select seasonings and the like. I loved Accra and this property was a nice oasis from the busy outside. The AC was a great relief from the hot temperatures and the size of the space was enough for 1 and cozy for 2 people. Prior to me arriving, the host was very responsive to my questions and proactively shared local recommendations of restaurants and popular attractions. The only drawback would be me not utilizing the patio space for morning meals. This is an affordable gem for those travelling in the are and would like a small, private space.

It was delightful in all respects. Except for the television not working. That is not at all acceptable in such a classy, upscale apartment. I would definitely come back again but until you fix the TV, pay the cable bill or whatever... just tell the truth about it. There is secure parking behind a locked gate. The onsite host is friendly, available and attentive. There is a wonderful creek running beside the home. We only used the kitchen to store and warm leftovers and make tea, but it appears to be well stocked. Lovely place!

Loxwood was the perfect Airbnb for our stay in Ghana. From the moment we arrived, Godfrey and his team were incredibly helpful and proactive, quickly addressing any issues that arose. The space truly felt like a home away from home. Originally, we only booked for two nights, but after checking in, we knew we wanted to stay longer — and ended up spending the rest of our trip there. The location is excellent, and we felt completely safe and secure throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

two bedroom, two bathroom spacious apartment with beautiful decor. it had running hot water which was great, the bed was comfortable, and it had a fan and aircon - we felt right at home and my son loved all the open space and access to the pool. we would definitely book again when staying in accra. thank you for your hospitality.

definitely felt like home beautiful clean crisp space, classy white walls very spacious modern luxury minimalist feel. great building safe quiet peaceful of course local vibrant community. quick easy access for transportation and quick easy walk to things. The steps were simple and great if you'd like a little exercise. easy to find and quick walk to what you need. great host and team helpful and accommodating. beautiful windows for a great breeze or great view. nice layout love the first world services like hot water two huge movie TVs and Netflix and nice comfortable sofa and beautiful glass dinning table. 11 min Resort nearby for great breakfast and pool Beach to stroll, everything close enough. roomy shower room. Best stay. Breath of fresh air. Good 1.

Really good stay when I needed to be closer to the city during my trip to Ghana. The caretaker Linda was very helpful during check in and whenever I had issues with the unit! Right in the heart of the city and a closer walk or drive to different restaurants and attractions!

Bright was helpful and made me feel like I was home. He immediately changed the Tv when I had issue with the one at the apartment. Great guy

Grayson Court is a wonderful home base for visiting Accra. The home is large, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. Mr Perkins, the caretaker on the property, is super friendly and extremely attentive! I stayed here for a work trip, and the team enjoyed it so much we came back the next year for a second stay. It is a great, private, safe home base, within walking distance of Oxford Street. The rooms are large and comfortable, with AC in each room. Mr. Perkins always makes sure the electricity and internet are topped up and that you're comfortable, and if we ever needed recommendations, he was quick to help out. He would even run errands for us if we needed him to! Clare is a wonderful host. Even with the time zone change she is extremely attentive and quick to respond. On my second trip our travel dates changed after booking the reservation, but she was very accommodating with the change. Grayson Court will be my home away from home every time!

I booked Yvonne’s place as a short getaway from Accra with my children, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and peaceful, with the soothing sound of the ocean audible from inside the house. We spent lots of time outdoors just relaxing, playing, and breathing in the fresh coastal air. We did have a bit of trouble finding the place at first—Google Maps led us slightly off course. Just a tip: once you’re on the road leading to Ocean’s Resort, continue all the way to the very end without turning off early. We mistakenly turned left too soon, but once I reached out to Miss Yvonne, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, which we really appreciated. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, I would absolutely recommend this spot.

Our 2 weeks stay was amazing. Location is really good and extremely safe area. The boys that work in the house are very helpful, never needed to call Mr Anum (owner) to ask for anything. But in case you need him, he’s so quick at getting back to you and assist you with anything. I will definitely book this place again x

The apartment was very nice, spacious, modern and well located. Joseph and Isaac ensured all our requests were met. Thank you. They also had a back-up power generator that ensured constant power supply during the power outages that are now becoming frequent in Accra. All in all, I will recommend this apartment and will return when next in Accra.

I came for the views, but enjoyed a lot more from the space. It's the middle of Osu, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that it was quiet. Construction next door made daytime noises, but it didn't hamper my trip much as I was there for work.

William is an outstanding host who is incredibly kind and responsive. The place was wonderful. Do be aware that it’s in Nima, a neighborhood of Accra that is unfortunately not as developed as others. This takes nothing away from William’s place, that is absolutely marvelous.

This is a beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. The host was always easy to reach and responded immediately. The complex is very well maintained overall and you feel very safe. The highlight is the rooftop pool, from which you can watch the whole city. Unfortunately, the water heater made very loud unpleasant noises, which is why we always had to switch it off to have peace and quiet. Overall, we had a very nice week-long stay and can highly recommend the place.

The room came equipped with all the essentials, including a well-stocked kitchenette, a private bathroom with modern fixtures, and even a small balcony that offered stunning views of the surrounding area. It truly felt like a home away from home. Overall, my experience renting this room was nothing short of exceptional.
