Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Salamander Bay

The entire place felt right at home. We had an amazing stay and the hosts are just perfect… Very responsive , everything was just as described. Great experience.

The cabin was a lovely escape. So peaceful, a gorgeous view of the valley both from the heated spa where we also sat and counted the satellites we could pick out trundling their way through near earth orbit among the stars at night. We were visited by kangaroos, kookaburras, and a goanna who wandered all the way up to the back deck to check on us, and drank tea sitting on the bench that overlooks the valley while the mist evaporated in the morning sun to revealed the gorgeous view. The hosts were wonderfully helpful - checking in and keeping in touch in the lead up to our stay, and even providing a heads up of traffic issues with clear detour directions for us to get to the location safely. I would absolutely recommend to others, and will definitely consider returning in the future.

The kids loved the pool table and xbox. Plenty of space for everyone.

We stayed here to attend a wedding at Eaglereach. It is remote, but not as hard to get to as we'd feared. The road up is narrow and windy, not as steep as I'd expected and tarred most of the way so quite driveable. The Gallery is one of a number of houses in the Eaglereach precinct, but others are barely visible so it is quite private. The house was comfortable but could be improved with a more up to date kitchen - there is no dishwasher, for example. It was a chilly weekend and I would have appreciated some heating in the bathroom, which is a bit spartan. Also we were surprised there was no doona on the bed and no electric blanket. But the location is what you pay for and it was beautiful and peaceful, and the wallabies do come right up to the back door!

We had an amazing stay! Perfect set up for groups of friends or two families like we were. We loved the extra touches like balled ice cubes and lots of extra bath and beach towels! Our kids loved the spa/pool and it was nice and warm which was a perfect activity for them even in the rain! This place is walking distance to the shops, marina and cafes/restaurants! Richard was an amazing host and communicated very fast with any questions we had about the spa! The set up is great and so relaxing! Nice to have three different areas to sit too and chill out with enough space to not be on top of your other guests! We had a great time and will be back!! Thank you!

This is the second time we've stayed at Greg's place. Always a big group and we find the house ideal for us. We love the kitchen and cooked up a feast with all the available utensils. Relaxing afterwards in the Spa was the cherry on the top. Greg is incredibly responsive and we know the house will be spotless with all the extras such as linen, towels, good working appliances and a well stocked fridge etc Can't recommend Greg highly enough

The home was fantastic and was perfect for 3 couples to enjoy our weekend getaway. Mary Ann was a super host, very organised and easy to communicate with. The living area was large enough for some to watch TV while others sat at the table to chat. The outdoor area was perfect to view the sunset, or if too cold, to view from the comfort and warmth of the living room. The bedrooms were all a good size with comfortable beds & good quality linen. The main bathroom was enormous, with a decent size spa. All good quality cleaning products and equipment made the check out clean up quick and easy. An easy walk around the bay to the Deck for yummy take-a-way easy dinner and a Sunday brunch, made for the perfect get-a-way.

The location was super convenient, and communication with the hosts was smooth and easy. Little extras like the noodles in the cupboard and the washer/dryer were such a nice touch and really appreciated. Overall, a great stay!

We really had a nice stay , Linda is a great host and she has kept the property at pristine condition with immaculate attention to details. Really wonderful place to stay and enjoy morning tea with great surroundings with close proximity to everything. We stayed for 4 nights and will highly recommend to anyone travelling to Port Stephen’s area.

Great location to relax and rejuvenate! Quiet surrounded by nature and a beautiful spot to escape. Surrounded by beautiful well grown trees and a lot of kangaroos! Cabin is situated perfectly catering the view and amenities available as advertised. Host had setup everything thoughtfully including the initial chimney and bonfire ready to lit and use. Heated spa was an add on. The roads to reach the cabin might be challenging for novice drivers and is something to be aware of. Be fully packed with groceries and food if you plan to have a lazy day at the cabin. Overall a great place and a great experience.

We had the most incredible weekend stay at Cathy and Manny’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere. The fire pits and indoor fireplace were already set up, making it so easy to just relax and enjoy our evenings. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed – including quality wine glasses and even an automatic ice maker (such a nice touch!). You can really tell a lot of care has gone into making the place feel special and comfortable. One of the highlights for us was definitely the wildlife! We had friendly visits from kangaroos (who we got to feed thanks to the kangaroo food Cathy and Manny provided), as well as goannas, kookaburras, and wallabies. It felt like a dream – truly magical. We already miss it and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Cathy and Manny for creating such a wonderful getaway!

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!
