An absolutely amazing spot and very fortunate to be able to spend a long weekend at Sam's house right on the beach at Langebaan Lagoon, nothing better to step out for a walk, swim, paddle or kite surf

We had such a wonderful time at 'Freda House' on the Golf Course. The check-in process was seamless, and Zelda, who welcomed us to Freda House was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel right at home. The space was thoughtfully decorated, with cozy touches that made it feel welcoming and warm. Every detail was considered. The beautiful kitchen had everything we needed (bottled water, coffee, tea, milk, fresh fruit and so much more!). The location was perfect, close to Langebaan's shops, restaurants and the beach. The house was so peaceful and quiet at night. The springbok and other game grazing on the golf course added to the magic of the setting. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Things like local recommendations, fast Wi-Fi, and a handwritten welcome note and gift basket made a big difference. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! I can highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house has charm and lots of character. We felt at home right away. We were surprised by the size of the house and how extremely well equipped it was, especially for large families. The cleanliness was irreproachable and the garden and yard neat and well maintained. Magical place. Great location and a dream for the kids being so close to the water. House has everything you need and layout works great if you have kids and friends over. We will be visiting this spot very soon again..and regularly!

Adri was responsive and friendly throughout the booking process. The kids throughly enjoyed the pool and the easy access to Shark Bay. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone especially if you’re travelling with little ones!

We really enjoyed the stay here. The venue looked exactly like the pictures and Eugene made us feel welcome from the beginning. The following things stood out for me, the venue is spacious, and allowed us to relax as a family as well as have some quiet time as well. It was safe and I felt relaxed throughout our stay. It has three well placed bathrooms/toilets which is always great for a familyof 4. The pool on the property was was a hit with the kids and they want to go back in the summer so that we can make use of the pool more. Thank you Eugene for the wonderful stay.

Michelle is an awesome host. The place exceeded all expectations. A break away requires everything the place has; it’s fun and functional. But most importantly it’s peaceful and relaxing. The space is safe and secure. We will definitely be returning because why not?

Superb stay... The accommodation is clean, well-appointed and comfortable... Thoughtful amenities... Great fireplace... And the quaint town of Jacob's Bay is a real gem along the West Coast. Would recommend and would certainly visit again.

Really great place to stay. Right on the sea front, far end of town. Very quiet. Easy access to beach below. Hear the lapping waves. Very clean and very well equipped. Pleasantly surprised to have a shower as was not mentioned. We thought it was a bath only. Great shower it was too! Very comfy big bed. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Read a book or beach walk, yet near enough to restaurants. Highly recommend.

We only had one night but could have stayed for a week. Private and 50m from the beach. Tastefully decorated with all one would need for a short stay in Paternoster. We would definitely go back.

What an oasis. We were looking for a cozy place for a birthday weekend and this beach villa ended up being such a dream. The photos online don't do it justice at all. It's so much more spacious and perfect in every way. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather so we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit every night. But even for rainy days, this place would be the perfect cozy cave with a beautiful idyllic fireplace and so much space to cook and chill with a group of friends. BIG recommendation!

We had a lovely stay in this well equipped villa that has everything you need for a great vacation. The inside as well as the outside of the house is designed with care to details and the view over Shark Bay is wonderful. Adrian is a kind host that answers quickly to your questions and Wilma who met us was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back next year.

This is a fantastic stay, especially if you're into wind sports. You can windsurf, kitesurf, or wing foil right from your doorstep—no need to drive anywhere. There's a dedicated kite room for gear storage, and the beach in front is also one of the best for swimming. The infinity pool is long enough for proper laps, which we really enjoyed. The house is modern, clean, and offers breathtaking views with unforgettable sunsets. We loved relaxing on the patio loungers. Marcus was very welcoming and greeted us personally, and Shantelle, the manager, was proactive, helpful, and great with communication. The unit is serviced every third day, which made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended—especially for wind sport enthusiasts, but also perfect for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting.

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

My family and I had the most beautiful Father’s Day weekend at this amazing location. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by everything the home had to offer. The kids loved their bedrooms, the hot Jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing, and the swimming pool gave us the perfect way to cool down. It was a memorable stay — we only wish we could’ve booked it again for December, but sadly it was already taken when we checked online. Thank you so much for opening up your stunning home to us. We’ll be back again soon to unwind and enjoy everything all over again.
