Tiny Cottage of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Turtle Cove

Located on beautiful Lake Centralia, Turtle Cove offers a relaxing lakefront experience, perfect for a couple's getaway or hosting families. If you need a quiet stay nestled in nature or fun on the water, you can’t go wrong with Turtle Cove! *Over 2 guests, we require an additional $12/person per night. **Dogs -flat $50 fee. We kindly ask for pets to stay off furniture / beds & dispose of dog waste from yard. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning fee. ***No parties allowed.

Barefoot Beach House

This lakefront home is centrally located in Southern Illinois on Lake Centralia. This home has approx. 2300sqft with 3 bedrooms 2 full baths, great room w/ tongue & groove cathedral ceilings providing beautiful lake views. The spacious kitchen has a large island w/ solid surface countertops & bar area. Tucked away in cove is the private beach area with dock perfect for fishing or rafting. You will love the relaxing feel of lake living! We have internet TV options but no DISH or Direct TV.

Modern Loft in Historic Downtown

Lincoln’s Loft is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. This loft offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and large smart TV. This loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. It is located on the 3rd level and will require you to climb 2 flight of stairs. For events please contact the host!

Country cottage tiny home.

This 240sq ft cottage offers big living in a tiny space. The cottage is on our 2 acre property that is used for a hobby farm and primary residence. The cottage features luxury vinyl flooring, granite counter tops and an updated farm house feel. The queen size bed is sure to provide the right amount of comfort. When you wake up, walk on over and grab a cup of coffee from the keurig. Enjoy a walk around to see the goats and chickens before heading off for the day.

Welcome to Deer Creek Cabin on Lake Centralia. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful private retreat. A large deck surrounds the pool for all your family fun. Fishing and kayaking are just steps away. Enjoy your morning coffee in the screened-in porch overlooking a quiet cove of the beautiful lake. It is common to see deer, geese, ducks, turtles, and blue heron. As night falls, cozy up around the fire pit to make more family memories.

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Perfect for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! This country cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I 57 access, and public hunting land and within an hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes the use of kayaks, hammocks and a walking trail. Portable bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood available. Outdoor outlet and spigot. Children welcome!

House By The Woods 2 bedroom/sleeps 7

Due to my cancer and health we will no longer have the hot tub. We have 2 electric fireplaces, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, futon & full size bed in living room that sleeps up to 7 total. It has a side covered porch with a seating area & table with chairs. Firepit area for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. Firewood on premises. Propane grill on back patio. Small kids play area in back yard & 4pm check in with 10 am checkout.

Summersville Cottage

Located just on the outskirts of town, this roomy house will be perfect for a stay for a large family group, or book it for a few weeks while you work in Mt Vernon! Just freshly painted and updated and filled with comfy furniture to give you a great "home-away-from-home". The back deck is spacious enough for dining and grilling.
