Still with the view of Pico da Vara as a backdrop, the highest mountain on the island will transmit the tranquility you need on this vacation or, for the most restless souls, the challenge and satisfaction of climbing to 1103 meters of altitude. The sea at arm's length, trails, waterfalls and greenery are the things that characterize us and that we want to convey to you.

Very quiet, on a very peacefull village. Swimming area close by, water stream with fish, great for hiking, bird watching and canyoning. 20 mins to furnas lake by car. Waterfall Life: immersed in secluded nature

A converted stone watermill at the bottom of a small valley, between two waterfalls. Walking in, you half-expect to have stepped back a century. The sound doesn't stop—it follows you to sleep and is the first thing you hear in the morning. You leave the car on an old bridge above and walk down a short rustic path; below it, the property opens up. Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.

The Chimney Houses are the recovery of an old traditional house. They were carefully created to promote a rural experience in a typical home, in a modern and comfortable environment. Consisting of three independent houses, it also has a large garden with a swimming pool, a small vegetable garden and orchard and a porch with a barbecue (shared by all guests). The view is stunning, with the sea and mountains within sight. Tranquility reigns. Here... we've been very happy.
