In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.

Private parking is 100m away from house and you must take a steep climb up to apartment. Bikers are welcome to drive all the way up to house.
