Welcoming all to this light-filled renovated cabin to relax, sun, eat, play. Outside, three decks and big yard overlook Superior right next to l ush wetland with turtles, rabbits, birds, deer. Inside, comfortable open living room and full kitchen, two cozy cool bedrooms, new lux bathroom. Big tv and gas fireplace, games and music, endless windows and views. We cherish this place and island as a part-time home and writing retreat and we love to have others come share in a bit of lake island life.

The Eclectic Apartment on Broad Street

Your jumping off point to all things Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Rest and relax , one block from the public sauna and pool, where you will wake up to sunrises over Lake Superior and end your day on the deck with a glass of wine or a good book. The bedroom and living room have amazing natural lighting. Local coffee and a full kitchen, as well as laundry, free parking, Roku TV and a custom tile shower offer all of the comforts of home. Modern-rustic, Aframe on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, glass stove top, air-fryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king gel memory foam bed on main floor. Smart TV, wi-fi. Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly as the main heat source. All wood is provided for woodstove and firepit. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

This charming & clean main floor apartment is nestled up in the woods on a quiet dead-end road just short a 5-minute drive to downtown Bayfield. Head down the hill into Bayfield for dining, shopping, beaches, and hiking. If golfing is your thing, just a 3-minute drive up the hill and you’ll find the gorgeous Apostle Highland Golf Course.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2 Nestled among the north woods, this yurt is a comfortable and unique getaway. The design is a contemporary twist on the traditional yurt, featuring classic yurt elements such as lattice walls and radial rafters, along with modern comforts. The yurt sleeps up to two guests with a queen-size bed sitting under a clear dome to watch the sky above. There is a sitting area, as well as a bathroom, complete with hot shower and flush toilet.

Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (mountain bike, cross-country ski and hiking). Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Superior including; Pike's Bay, four of the Apostle Islands (Madeline, Basswood, Stockton and Michigan) and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.

Romantic Vineyard Cabin, Sauna, Plunge Pool

Come and celebrate all that Bayfield has to offer at this quiet vineyard and forest getaway, just 2 miles from downtown. Located in Bayfield's charming Fruit Loop, you'll be surrounded by vines, forest, orchards, and berry farms. The Scandinavian cabin, forest facing sauna with plunge pool, and vineyard sit within acres of secluded woods. The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog. There is a $40 pet fee.
