Brookside is 5 minutes from Mt Ashwabay, Big Top, Bayview beach and multiple hiking trails. Ride a ferry ride to Madeline or cruise the Apostles. Sail, fish, kayak, golf, ski. $40 pet fee per stay. 🙂 No smoking allowed.

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

My place is close to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands It is located 2 miles north of Washburn or 10 miles south of Bayfield. Peaceful country setting, the long house is a freshly remodeled mobile home. Sorry, no pets. I have increased the number of guests to six . There are 4 double beds in the cabin. If you are booking with more than 4 guests, please allow for this. Thanks you! Open June 1 - mid October

Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

Really unique rental in a beautiful location. The town of Bayfield and the surrounding area was amazing to explore, really friendly people, amazing restaurants, and such a cool atmosphere. The rental itself was clean, quiet and private, great view of Lake Superior to enjoy. Jessica was very easy to communicate with, gave us an awesome list of recommendations of things to do in the area, and made the check in process smooth as butter. We are already planning our next visit, thanks very much!

Staying at Kelsey’s place was an absolute dream! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that showed how much care Kelsey puts into hosting. Communication was easy and kind—she was always quick to respond and so helpful with anything I needed. One of the unexpected highlights of my stay was getting to meet her sweet dog and her brother’s dog—they were both so well-behaved, friendly, and just adorable! It made the stay feel even warmer and more special. The neighborhood was peaceful and convenient, and I slept better than I have in weeks. Thank you, Kelsey, for such a cozy, relaxing, and memorable getaway. I’d 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a truly welcoming place to stay. 💛

This Airbnb is exceptional! Any toiletry you might need was available. The bed was very comfortable. The linens were great! The bedroom and bathroom were very large so you could spread out. The use of the washer and dryer right by the bathroom was greatly appreciated. Additionally, there was a basket full of snacks and even a couple of postcards of the area which I thought was very nice! Highly recommend!!!

It was a perfect place for a get-a-away! Clean and comfortable and the option of kitchenware was sufficient for some basic cooking. I would definitely recommend for a single person or a couple, maybe not for a family with multiple children; everything is so close together it would be hard to not wake up the kids or vs-versa.

Our stay at Timber & Tide was wonderful! The view of Lake Superior was spectacular! The outdoor space was perfect with a firepit, wood, chairs, hammocks and grill. The inside had a stocked kitchen and very nice decor. It was a very peaceful stay and we were appreciative that we could bring our dog.

We loved the tiny house. Enjoyed a fire outside with the dog. Don't forget to ask about the beaver pond! Carlo Jo and Sam were both so friendly. Lots to do within 10-15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again if in the area!
