Holiday houses in San Foca

We had a wonderful stay at Gianlucas spacious and lovingly equipped house as a family with two adult children. It is big enough for everyone to have enough privacy, there are plenty of seating options around the house. The equipment in the kitchen is very good. In our opinion, it has the best location in Torre dell 'Orso: walking to the beach and to the rocks in the north. The house is situated in a quiet street directly on the rocks. The view from the wall on the small street over the sea is beautiful. In Torre dell'Orso a lot is closed in mid-October, for us it was good: Plenty of space on the beautiful beach with clear water, Dentoni (Cafe Konditorei) and a good restaurant (Hotel Belvedere) were still open. Otranto and Lecce are easily accessible. Many thanks to Gianluca for the warm welcome during our late arrival with a small evening snack and the quick answers to questions.

Beautiful, clean apartment with working technology, air conditioning (important), refrigerator. Nice and attentive landlords, questions via chat were answered quickly, as you would like it. The apartment is well located, we were able to start our day trips in the Salento region without problems and visit many beautiful places.

We had a fantastic stay at Luigi’s place! It is located in a quiet and local area about a 10-minute walk from the old town, making it the perfect location for Lecce. The place is spacious with plenty of amenities - full kitchen, two bathrooms, air conditioning in the living room. The bed was comfortable and we had great night sleeps with the fan. The best part had to be the pool and outdoor area! We loved breaking up the hot days with a couple hours in the pool each day. We stayed there as a couple but there was plenty of space for a big family or friends. The bonus was having accessible parking outside the house - while not part of the property, we had no trouble finding some each day. The hosts had fantastic communication too, making check-in seamless and were always happy to answer any questions. We’d definitely love to stay again if we were in Lecce in the future!

Angelo was a very kind and unavailable host, even in the directions x visit places and find restaurants. His house overlooks a large square a few steps from the sea and is convenient for driving to the places to visit ( we were in Gallipoli,Galatina, Lecce, Otranto, Ostuni and Santa Maria di Leuca....); it is clean,tidy and equipped with the necessary,including a stove and beautiful soft blankets for this rather " abnormal and cold" Salento April.

Everything is more than perfect, nothing is missing in the house, but just nothing, from the essentials to the mosquito plates, I spent 11 days in August with my daughters in perfect comfort, the house is spacious, fresh, clean, equipped with everything, exceeded our expectations and the description on airbnb We were without a car and we shot so much using the Salento bus line that passes comfortably under the house. We also enjoyed the beautiful bays under the house. Francesco and his family are very helpful, precise, friendly and reliable, we left a piece of heart, we will definitely be back. Thank you again

Very nice accommodation. Fresh and well-maintained, the apartment has most of what you need for holiday celebrations. Anna-Laura and her daughter were very friendly and accommodating despite our late arrival. San Foca is a nice sleepy Italian seaside resort (in June, at least - I have heard that August is chaos like all other places in Salento) ... and has many genuine qualities despite its lack of prestige. - It's nice to avoid tourist traps, which sometimes dominate other more popular destinations. Seems to be a holiday resort with mostly Italians, which is positive.

The place was perfect for two people who want to take a beach vacation (preferably by car). Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with the weather, which meant we could not fully enjoy the great balcony with kitchen. Nevertheless, we had everything we needed there and felt at home. The apartment was very clean and the landlords are very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely take a vacation at this property again :)
